Hungary Bike Trip: Budapest arrival

We arrived in Budapest at 10:30am Budapest time. Two great flights with lots of leg room and good food. Once we arrived we unpacked our bikes and assembled them just outside the terminal door in the shade. All went well and we were at our hotel within an hour.
My traveling companions are Joe Gati, 75, Wayne Woods 65 and the kid Bruce MacDonald, 56. These guys know how to cycle and I'll be pushing it to make sure I stick with them. There are no worries there as we do not to go too fast.
Joe just finished a half ironman on Sunday in Peterborough. This consisted of a swim 2km, pedal 90km and then run 21km. He completed it in 6hrs and 47minutes. Note his age above. An amazing man.
The food here is very simple but good and also cheap. We plan to move hotels tomorrow to get nearer to the centre of Budapest. On Saturday we plan to start heading to Wein (Vienna).
